Vanessa-Mae Vanakorn Nicholson (known professionally as Vanessa-Mae), born 27 October 27, 1978, in Singapore. She’s a skilled violinist in the style of British pop and classical.
At the age of three she began playing piano, and then violin at age five. Her father, Varaprong Vanakorn, is Thai, and her mother, Pamela Tan, is Chinese. From the age of four, Vanessa grew up in London with her mother and step-father. She’s a British citizen.
In 2006, Vanessa-Mae was ranked as the wealthiest young entertainer under 30 in the UK.

Some of her most notable on-screen roles include The Whole Nine Yards (both including sequels), Species, Steal, the ABC drama Commander in Chief, and the Canadian TV mini-series Would Be Kings. She won the Gemini Award for best actress in Would Be Kings. Recently, Natasha played the role of Taylor Wethersby in the TV Series Eli Stone.
