Emmy Rossum

Emmanuelle Grey “Emmy” Rossum was born September 12, 1986, in New York City, New York, to Jewish parents. She is an only child who was raised by her mother and has only met her father twice. Rossum began her career as is a singer-songwriter and later also became an actress.

Some of the movies she starred in include Dragonball: Evolution (2009), Dare (2009), Poseidon (2006), The Phantom of the Opera (2004), The Day After Tomorrow (2004), Mystic River (2003), Passionada (2002), An American Rhapsody (2001), and Songcatcher (2000).

On her musical side, Rossum released her debut album, Inside Out in October 2007. It peaked at 199 in the U.S. charts. Also in 2007, she also released a Christmas EP entitled Carol of the Bells. In 2008, Rossum announced that she was working on her second studio album.

Kristin Kreuk

Kristin Laura Kreuk was born December 30, 1982 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She is probably best known for playing Lana Lang in the TV series Smallville (2001-2008, 2009).

Before Kristin’s appearance on Smallville, she was a regular cast member on the Canadian teen drama Edgemont. She landed the role with very little prior acting experience due to the casting director of the series looking for an exotic-looking girl. Her exotic look is the result of having a Dutch father and Chinese mother.

Some of Kreuk’s other filmography includes Eurotrip, Legend of Earthsea, Dream Princess, Partition, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, Ben Hur, and Chuck.

Zooey Deschanel, born January 17, 1980 in Los Angeles, California, is an American actress, musician and singer-songwriter.

As a musician, she records and performs with M. Ward under the moniker She & Him. They released the albums Volume One in 2008, and Volume Two in 2010. She plays keyboards, banjo, ukulele, and percussion, and has performed singing in some of her films.

As an actress, Deschanel made her film debut in Mumford in 1999. Her next role, as William Miller’s troubled older sister Anita in Cameron Crowe’s 2000 film Almost Famous, brought her greater attention. Some of her other film appearances include Elf (2003), The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (2005), Failure to Launch (2006), Gigantic (2008), Yes Man (2008), and (500) Days of Summer (2009).
